Normally, he speaks in third-person and acts dopey. But at night (or when he thinks no one besides other animatronics are nearby), he comes off as pessimistic, often complaining about the laziness of the repair staff.
Programmed likes: Brains, tombs, crypts, graveyards, being in working order, other "classic" monsters.
Programmed dislikes: fire, rain, being neglected, parts falling off, his voicebox not working.

Job:
His job is to wander the area doing zombie things (e.g. moaning, groaning, mumbling about brains) and occasionally pose for a photo behind a group of customers.

Brief history:
At his original job, he was a "Frankenstien monster" character for a Halloween-themed attraction. The employees often neglected his maintenance since he was a yearly thing. Curiously, they'd sometimes find parts to replace old ones arranged neatly in front of him.
He was sold cheap and rebranded as a zombie after an accident in-transit damaged his suit.
Unfortunately, the staff at Freddy's used this new label as an excuse to slack on his maintenance for the sake of "adding to the effect".
Additional info:
Sympathizes with Mangle. Falling apart from neglect is one thing, but he can't imagine how horrible being pulled apart on purpose must feel.
He knows how to repair himself, but it can be difficult when his joints are stiff or rusted to the point of fragility.
The staff usually only bother to fix his bare essentials (e.g. legs, sensors, circuitry).
He once recognized someone in his criminal database and attempted to "eat his brains", which boiled down to him fake-gnawing on the guy's head until security staff showed up. The supposed criminal only got a few bruises and scrapes from struggling, and turned out to be clean.
I like to think he sounds like Marvin or possibly the wolf-bot guards from Sly Cooper
